At JP Lloyd we take the time to assess the learning needs of each of our students. This is the reason why we recommend that each student has a comprehensive diagnostic completed prior to being enrolled in tutoring sessions. We utilize the results of the diagnositc to find the deficits and plan strategically to support growth in the areas of need. We support this growth with substantive content information and then seek for deeper understanding with extension activities that require the student to utilize their critical thinking skills. Additionally, students are given mini assessments that mirror the assessments that they will encounter in their classrooms.

This package is designed for the student who is having some success academically, but needs some targeted assistance to excel. At this level we focus on :

This package is designed for the student who is experiencing difficulties academically and may be struggling in one or more areas. At this level we focus on:

Getting Started Special- 4 sessions* per subject area
This package is offered at a lower price, 26% off our lowest standard package. However, it requires that parents sign a 6-month agreement and enroll in auto billing for the duration of the contract.

Full scale Diagnostic
2 hours
Prior to any tutoring sessions commencing, we recommend that you get a full scale diagnostic completed to determine where you student shows deficits. This is beneficial in that it helps us to target our instruction to best meet your student's needs, and it saves you money in the long run.

Targeted Subject Area Diagnostic (High School)
1 - 1.5 hours
If a full scale diagnostic is not required, then a targeted subject area diagnostic will provide the information that the tutor will need to make informed decisions.
